I often want to do everything at once, I want to do this, do that but that does not always work of course. Sometimes I run as most efficiently as possible through the house. When I go to the toilet, I also take this and that along with me so that I don’t have to walk twice. Walking empty-handed is not possible! Occasionally this makes me crazy of course. The same with that I also want to do some more photo shoots of what I do in and around our home. But with a little one it doesn’t go that quickly or easily. So, I let her join! Jaya is in the middle of the photo shoot of our bedroom, and she is happy! Take a look at some bedroom inspiration.
Bedroom inspiration in our home
Our bedroom is right next to Jaya’s room and is only separated by a thin wall. We can hear each other breath. That’s why we are sleeping in our guest room for the last few weeks. That way we all get some more sleep. Luckily Jaya’s doesn’t wake up any more in the middle of the night, but still she is a bit of a light sleeper I think.
The bedroom is incredibly light and feels very spacious and comfortable to us. We didn’t want to create an entire white space so we left the outside wall natural. This gives a beautiful contrast with all the whites I think.
The curtain is from Ikea as are the lights, the word banner comes from A Little Lovely Company and all the frames and art pieces come from Minted, Xenos and my webshop.
I got used to it I guess because now I suddenly see how crooked the wooden frames of Ikea are hanging. Something for on my to do list!
The ‘Me and You’ print is from Alma Custom Designs and the night stands are made by my dad. Just simple wooden tables.
Jaya’s room is right behind this wall. Her bed is next to it so she can look outside from the window. Actually, her bed was made by my dad as well. Really beautiful.
So, that was it. Thank you so much for joining us in our bedroom inspiration tour in our home. I hope you enjoyed it, we definitely did.
Love, Jaya and Claudia
