Last week I told you about Odense City in Denmark. Today I want to show you a beautiful place that you shouldn’t miss while visiting Denmark; Stevns Klint which means Stevns Cliff. It is a white chalk cliff located on the island of Zealand. The same island as Copenhagen. The cliff is about 40m high (130 ft) en stretches about 14,5 km (9 mi) along the coast.
On top of the cliff you will find a beautiful little church with a view over the ocean and the cliff it self. In 1928 part of the church collapsed and fall off the shore. Years later the new church was completed. Sinds 2014 Stevns Klint is part of the UNESCO.
A gorgeous spot to visit in Denmark. Note; there is a fee for parking your car. It is a fixed amount so it doesn’t matter how long you stay around. You can take the stairs to the beach and see the cliff from beneath. After that you can enjoy lunch in the local restaurant.
