Vertical gardening has become increasingly popular and is a godsend for many people with a small garden. But vertical gardening can also be ideal for families or for residents of a flat or apartment. As you go in the height, you use a small area of your balcony or terrace to keep more space left. I also want to give you some fun and useful tips for vertical gardening.

Tip #1 Pile Up

You can create even more space by stacking your planters. This gives you more space and you still have plenty of space for fun plants.

Tip #2 Height

A vertical garden is so much fun because you use the height of your garden or balcony. But try to really go in height, for example two meters. This gives you a whole wall with room for the plants and flowers.

Tip #3 Old pallets

A fun way to create a vertical garden on your balcony, terrace or garden is with an old palette. As you can see, you can do a lot of things with them and they are awfully cheap!

Tip #4 Fruit crates

You know them, the popular fruit crates. This example is not only super convenient but also original. A simple wooden wall allows you to hang this fun fruit crates so you can decorate them with pretty plants, hanging plants or cheerful flowers.

Tip #5 cheap solutions for vertical gardening

Old downspouts or old pipes also serve well as a vertical garden. Old plant pots with rings attached to an old pallet or piece of wood. Name any kind of old material and it is suitable for vertical gardening.
