Is it just me or are the more mothers who are bored with their nursery or kids room? Jaya is only 8 months old and sleeping in her room and I could change EVERYTHING in that room again. I’m just a little tired of the interior and the colors. I don’t find it cosy anymore and it all says nothing. Before we got Jaya I dreamt about our baby girl sleeping in that room, playing with her toys, reading books, doing her homework etc. but now that Jaya is a real person with already a personality I realize that her room maybe doesn’t suit her very well. I have nu clue what I would do with her room but I am looking around for more interior inspiration. For example these pastel kids rooms and nurseries.
This beautiful kids room comes from the United States but luckily I also found some items for a room like this, that we can buy here in Europe. My absolute favorite in this nursery is the rug. So beautiful!
This pastel kids room is light, bright, cheerful and inviting without being too girly or too pink. The entire interior existed around the crib, which was the inspiration source for the room. The color got more and more color after that the walls were painted white. When you keep the furniture neutral and peaceful, you can vary with colors more.
The rug was the finishing touch of the room and comes from Glitter Guide x Lulu & Georgia and is called the “Elodie” Rug.
The two accent colors that have been used in this pastel kids room are coral and mint combined with a white base of walls and ceiling with a warm wooden floor. A sweet and cheerful pastel kids room!
Are you a mother that also likes to redecorate her kids rooms every now and then? Buying new items, adding something new and moving around with furniture?
These are the products I like to add to this pastel kids room.
