Have you heard about Tom Dixon before? You probably saw the lights of Tom Dixon before. They are all over Pinterest, in coffee shops, blogs, restaurants and houses. They are nothing new to bloggers and other design lovers.

Tom Dixon Designs since a few years..

The most famous designs of Tom Dixon are the Void Mini, Beat Light Fat, Beat Light Wide and the Beat Light Tall. The Dutch website called MisterDesign sells these lights but also yLighting sells them.

Other designs by Tom Dixon

The less popular but still very beautiful lights of Tom Dixon are the Etch Shade and Etch Web. I recently bumped into the Etch Shade in the Suitsupply shop in Las Vegas. Before I went travelling, I worked at an interior architecture office in Amsterdam where we did the design of the Suitsupply shops. Together with Suitsupply I designed lots of shops for them, so every time I see one I have to go inside and look at it. Eye all the good and bad details in the furniture and materials.

The Etch Shade looks great as a single light or together in a group. I love how the light comes through the pattern metal. The light is available in copper, stainless steel and brass.

Then there is the Etch Web which is a bit different again. The geometric shapes and material gives an unique light when you switch it on.
