Ola! My first post as a mummy on the blog. Exciting, because now I’m writing with a baby sleeping in her bed and hopefully not waking up for the next hour. Weird though, such a different ritme of the day, planning stuff is not how it goes now. You just go with the flow otherwise you go crazy. Cleaning the home? Only when you’ve got time. Watching series, reading a book? Only when she sleeps.. Writing on the blog? Only when she allows me to.
Big life change! But it all makes me so happy. Her smiles, her smell, her cuteness, her beautiful hair and face, her presence makes me extremely happy. She has been a very sweet baby for the last 4 weeks. The birth of our daughter Jaya went quick and luckily very well. It was extremely hard work but I would do it all over again. That moment that you see your baby for the first time, is a moment I will never forget. I was shaking from adrenaline, happiness and just disbelief. Did we make this beautiful baby? Was she in my belly for 9 months? Oh my, she has 10 fingers, 10 toes, beautiful ears and… a lot of hair! Something I really love.
I’ve been sharing lots and lots of pictures of her on my Instagram feed. I’m sorry if I’m boring you but I can’t stop. I hope you understand.
Little inside peak in our home
Before the birth I took pictures of my living room where I normally work and blog. I don’t have an office (yet?) so that’s why I use the table in our living room. It’s also the best room in our home because it has lots of light. I really wanted to share these pictures with you, because it will definitely look differently from now on. Baby clothes, baby toys etc. all over the place!
“Do all things with love” is one of my favorite quotes. I try to do all things with love but sometimes it’s just hard to follow this quote. Remembering words like this helps you to realize what you love and what you don’t love.
Something I really love is this blog. For almost three years now. I started as a travel writer when we left our home for a big world trip that ended after 21 months. A new life began with getting pregnant, moving back to our home country and now having a beautiful daughter and beginning a life as a family.
I really want to thank you all for following me and my blog for the last years. You are a true inspiration to me and you keep me motivated to keep on writing and sharing the beautiful things in life. Thank you!
Talk to you next time. I’m off being a mummy again ;-)
Big hugs and kisses, Claudia
