My heart started beating super fast when I saw a picture of this gorgeous home in Biarritz in France. I was immediately sold! Such a light and spontaneous home. I really adore this kind of interior style. You can’t create a style like this if you don’t really love it. It has to be something you absolutely adore, something that you are, something inside of you that makes you want to decorate interiors like this.

I’ve got lots of pictures, I couldn’t choose because every corner of the home is interesting to look at.

My dream home in France

The home is very bright because of the daylight but especially because the interior is so white. The owners of the home love white and planned it to be as bright as this. They bought a ruin and knew that they had to build the house all over again. It was a big project as you can see, but the end result is marvelous.

The entire home is decorated in one interior style, a combination of beach house / vintage / industrial. I’d say: PERFECT! I think that is part of why this would be my dream home. The style and decorating of the house is perfect.

Materials and decorating in this dream home

Materials that have been used are concrete, wood, tiles, lots of rattan, the window frames are made of metal, floors are made of wooden planks or concrete.

Especially the decorating is one of my favorites. The vintage furniture, the wooden details, the atmosphere of kids around the house with lots of toys and areas to play. The beach sort of style is achieved by putting a surf board in the kitchen, casual materials, the daylight and the youth kind of feeling in the entire home.
