Last week was the big day, the VT Wonen and Design Fair started. Previously it was called the Woonbeurs but since this year the name changed to the VT Wonen and Design Fair. I had a few hours time, just enough to have seen everything but just not long enough for a coffee and a toilet visit;-)

The fair was only open for half an hour but it was already quite busy. That makes shooting pictures incidentally, somewhat more difficult, more difficult than I had thought. I always prefer to just go alone to a fair because I can do at on my own pace and explore everything what I want. .

VT Wonen House

What I particularly noticed at the VT Wonen and Design Fair was that there was a lot of green. Plants and flowers were everywhere. Not only real green but also in the form of patterns, fabrics and posters. The botanical trend seems to be very hot at the moment.

Would we all want to go back to nature? With our busy lives, maybe we are in need of more nature? In need of fresh air? Back to basics?

A nice combination of wood, blue and graceful forms and materials. The next stand stole the show with many colors, crazy accessories and lighting.

And then some pictures of the exhibition stands and the atmosphere. Have you been to the fair? I love to hear what you thought!
