New Zealand is such an incredible place. Behind every corner there is something more beautiful than what you already saw before that. Words can’t describe this incredibly gorgeous country with its enormous mountains, snow-covered summits, windy roads, lots of sheep and beautiful blue waters. I travelled through New Zealand about 4 years ago on my own but it is so much better sharing all this beauty with some one. Life is better when you can share it! I definitely believe that is true.

This is the view from Wanaka town over the Wanaka lake. When you look from a bit higher, you can see that the water is so blue and clear. Gorgeous!

Travelling with a camper van through New Zealand gives us the freedom we love. We don;t want to be in a touring car, being told were to get off and take pictures and were we can’t get off. We love to just stop somewhere and consider if we want to sleep here for the night or not. The kiwi’s are much more flexible with campers than the Australians. There are so many free or cheap camp spots that are taken care of by the Department of Conservation (DOC). I have to say, they are great! They have clean toilets and the best spots in New Zealand.

This was a DOC camp site as well. Sometimes they are full and busy but mostly they are very quiet. Most people only stay here for the night so that makes it a bit hard to meet new people but the surroundings are great. Why go to a campground where you have to pay 40 dollars? Only for a shower and laundry, yes!

I hope you enjoyed my photos of New Zealand so far. Maybe it’s a bit too much? All the green, mountains and nature? But I promise you as soon as I can get online more, I will give you some more Design related posts!

Safe travels, xx
