I always find so much relaxation in making delicious things but I never take the time to do it often enough. Do you know that? That the things that make you the happiest are always kept until last? And then you have little time to do it. Why is that?
Last week I had the tastiest and healthiest, balls ever made. And it was all so easy! The recipe comes from the Dutch Good Food Book of Laurianne. Highly recommended!
What do you need?
- 200 gr dates
- 175 gr different nuts (unsalted)
- 60 ml coconut oil
- 2 tablespoon raw cacao
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- one hand of grated coconut
How do you make them?
First you let the dates soak for 15 min in water.
Put all the ingredients (except the grated coconut and dates) in a blender or food processor and mix well.
Add the dates and mix again.
Stir it all in a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Then it is time to roll it into balls and roll in the grated coconut.
Store them in the fridge for an hour and its ready!
